With over 25 years of experience in education across the United States and the Middle East, I’ve had the privilege of learning from and leading alongside diverse communities of students, educators, and families. My journey began in Washington, D.C., where I spent 12 deeply fulfilling years as an Early Childhood educator. In 2012, I took a leap internationally—first teaching in the United Arab Emirates for two and a half years, and since 2015, calling Qatar home.

Since becoming a certified International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP) educator in 2016, I’ve continued to grow both professionally and personally. One of the highlights of my career was having Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Thani observe my primary students as they presented a bilingual body systems demonstration. I was also honored to co-lead a Mindfulness workshop for fellow educators, attended by Her Excellency Buthaina Bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of Education and Higher Education.

At my core, I’m a lifelong learner—drawn to the joy of watching students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I’m passionate about well-being, mindful presence, and truly listening when others share their stories. Outside the classroom, I love exploring new countries, cultures, and cuisines—especially flavorful seafood and vegetarian dishes that reflect the richness of the world around us.
